Our clients say…

Improve One Thing the full QIP

Taking a QIClearn course was one of the best decisions I made this year. I went from never having heard the phrase ‘Quality Improvement’ to being confident in producing my own Quality Improvement project. I have now presented my work regionally, nationally and internationally and am in the process of getting an article published for the BMJ. I owe this all to QIClearn.

QIClearn client testimonial

QIClearn provided me with a learning environment which is practical, approachable and promotes individual development through training days, coaching and feedback. The knowledge, skills and confidence I’ve gained have led to successful projects in improving patient care.

I’ve just taken a look at the learner progress report. This is GOLD!!!! thank you guys.

I wish I was able to do this as a trainee. This will be so fantastic for our Senior career paediatric intensivist international

trainees who will be returning home to help develop paediatric intensive care in many regions of the world.

QIClearn client testimonial

QIClearn have helped my organisation on targeted quality Improvement initiative’s. They are great! They support capacity as well as sharing their knowledge and experience with staff across our partner organisations. They are responsive and have excellent facilitation and programme management tools in their kit bags, I strongly recommend them.

QIClearn client testimonial

Nikki provided the framework and support for my first QI project in 2017 when I was a Foundation trainee on the West Midlands BaSIS course. At the time I was aware of the need for participation in audits for my medical training, but I had no idea how valuable learning about quality improvement would prove to be. Years later, with the growth of QI and the steady move away from audit I have been ahead of my peers from the start. The project I completed at the time has earned me points on both my core training (acute care common stem) and my registrar application (academic clinical fellowship in palliative medicine) as well as providing a talking point at interview. It generated points from completing the project itself as well as providing an opportunity to present it as a poster at a conference and win a prize. This enjoyable and very doable investment in myself at the start of my career meant my applications have been very competitive.

Through QIClearn, the step by step structure, worksheet driven activities and coaching are now more widely available virtually and through small e-learning modules and it is clear to me how this will be a boost for those seeking to gain maximum advantage when stepping up to their next career milestone.

Thanks again for your support,

Steph

Improve ONE thing: Emergency Medicine

This has been a very good programme and certainly the feedback I’ve had from our participants has been extremely positive. It has been helpful not just with regard to publication but also with the trainees’ completion of their QIP exam.

The format of the QIP assessment is changing with the introduction of the new curriculum to become more of an ongoing learning process and I can see the development of a teaching faculty to be of great benefit in this.

QIClearn client testimonial

As someone early in my healthcare career, QIClearn gave me the confidence to get involved in improvement work right away. The course broke down complex ideas into clear, practical steps — and helped me see that anyone, at any level, can make a meaningful difference.

A very relevant and well-run course for healthcare professionals involved with service set up and delivery. The course is interactive, the online resources are exceptional and this will really change my practice going forward. Thank you to the team for putting this together so well and delivering a course that can also fit around work.

I loved the fact it showed me how to do QI properly, not just the common way of jumping straight to the answers we think. I’m already telling people about how useful the course is and trying to encourage them to properly explore problems for their QI.

QIClearn made quality improvement feel approachable, relevant, and genuinely inspiring. I came away not just with tools and techniques — but with a new way of thinking about systems, people, and change. It gave me the confidence to lead improvement work with clarity and purpose.
