DON’T FORGET THE CORD ………at preterm deliveries!
Optimal cord management (OCM) is when the umbilical cord is clamped at least 60 seconds or more after birth.
The perinatal team, which includes neonatal obstetric and midwifery members need to work together to support the delivery of OCM in all preterm births.
